Commercial Wood Fencing

Commercial wood fences are a popular and aesthetically pleasing choice for businesses looking to enhance security, privacy, and the overall appearance of their properties. Wood fences offer a timeless and natural look, and they can be customized. Generally, commercial wood fences resemble residential wood fences, but the commercial versions are usually thicker and higher.

Adding a top rail to a wood fence used in a commercial setting is a popular choice, as is a cedar plank fence framed with black steel. Adding more security measures like barbwire and razor wire is possible, although not as common. We recommend using red cedar for all outdoor applications, regardless of whether they are for commercial or residential use. Cedar is much more weather-, rot-, and insect-resistant.

These types of fences provide a sense of privacy that chain-link fences do not offer. However, they do not have the longevity that metal or vinyl fences do. They also need to be stained every few years or their lifespan will decrease drastically. Keep this in mind as you decide what type of fence is best for you and your commercial application.

Commercial Aluminum Fencing

Another popular type of commercial fence we often install is aluminum or iron. There are countless variations for these types of fences, but in general, the panel types are used most often, with wrought iron being the second most common type of metal fence. You’ll often see metal fences used around community pools and larger commercial properties. They often bend out towards the top in an effort to keep people from climbing them. They may also be spiked or tipped to discourage entry even further.

Aluminum is naturally resistant to corrosion, which makes it an ideal outdoor material to use. It’s one of the lighter metals, which makes it easy to work with. Additionally, it’s also very malleable and can be shaped into intricate designs and patterns.

Iron, especially wrought iron, is another great metal to use outdoors. Although it’s not as resistant to corrosion as aluminum, once it’s been primed and painted properly, very little maintenance is needed. Being much heavier than aluminum, iron fences are generally stronger and provide more security.

Regardless of whether you choose wrought iron or aluminum for your commercial project, metal fences provide an amazing amount of security but very little privacy.

Commercial Chain-Link Fencing

One of the most commonly used commercial fence applications is chain-link fencing. It is known for its durability, cost-effectiveness, and versatility. Most chain-link fences are made of galvanized steel, which is coated with zinc to protect against corrosion and rust. This ensures longevity and makes the fencing suitable for outdoor use in all types of weather conditions. Chain link fences can also be coated in vinyl and come in green and black, so you’re not stuck with the normal dull-grey look.

Most commercial chain-link fence projects are between 4 and 12 feet high. We can attach a section to the top containing barbed wire or razor wire for extra security. These types of fences are often used in industrial facilities, warehouses, construction sites, sports fields, etc.

Commercial Gate Installation

Commercial gates can be added to any type of fence. Gates allow a full fence to be put in place and a gate portion that is opened either manually or automatically. This provides much greater security and allows someone to monitor who comes and goes or who has access to a property.

Gates are typically installed into a fence system around dumpsters at sporting fields and in just about every other type of commercial and industrial application.
